Painting Workshop: 𝐖𝐈𝐂𝐂𝐈 𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 "𝐖𝐚𝐯𝐞" Painting Workshop with the support of our Animation and Entertainment Council, WICCI West Bengal president Mrs. Hansa Dangaich Mondal and our Council member and an esteemed Indian visual artist Tuli Guha. We witnessed amazing artwork from renowned female artists, whose talent and passion were truly inspiring. Their contributions made the event a vibrant celebration of creativity and artistic expression.

With incredible support from “𝐒𝐬𝐨𝐟𝐭𝐨𝐨𝐧𝐬” and in collaboration with 𝐑𝐨𝐨𝐩𝐭𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐬 & 𝐁𝐮𝐝𝐠𝐞𝐛𝐮𝐝𝐠𝐞 𝐀𝐠𝐚𝐚𝐦𝐢, the event became a memorable showcase of creativity and empowerment. "𝐖𝐄𝐀𝐕𝐄" celebrated the achievements of renowned women in the arts, providing a vibrant platform where acclaimed playwrights, directors, and performers shared their remarkable work and valuable insights with a wider audience. The event truly honored the power and creativity of women in the artistic community.

We celebrated 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐜 𝐃𝐚𝐲 in Kolkata with a spectacular event: "𝐀 𝐒𝐲𝐦𝐩𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐁𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐥𝐢 𝐌𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐬". The soulful essence of Bengali songs came alive as we experienced the rich diversity of 𝐁𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐥𝐢 𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐜 and 𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 at a historic venue. The event featured mesmerizing performances by solo artists and groups, including talented school students and professional musicians. Organized in collaboration with 𝐒𝐬𝐨𝐟𝐭𝐨𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐄𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐚 𝐋𝐋𝐏, the celebration was led by esteemed council members and graced by the presence of 𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐚 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐥, President of 𝐖𝐈𝐂𝐂𝐈 𝐀𝐧𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥, 𝐖𝐁. I, along with my regional women’s folk song group, have performed on stage with WICCI (Animation and Entertainment Council WICCI West Bengal). It was a great honor for us! The performance took place at Rathindra Mancha. WICCI provides opportunities for all artists—in singing, art exhibitions, and theater performances. I offer my heartfelt respect and best wishes to President Hansa Mondal for involving so many people in such innovative initiatives! Many congratulations to all the talented individuals associated with WICCI’s events.
Vocalist
WICCI (Women's Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry) is an organization whose plans and activities are quite distinct from other women’s groups. In 2024, their activities began with a beautiful event on International Music Day. Since then, after working in various fields such as painting and theater, they have now taken the initiative to publish an online magazine. In March 2025, under WICCI’s supervision, a wonderful art exhibition was held at the Ramakrishna Mission Gallery (Golpark), featuring various artists (without receiving any financial support from them). This strong step by WICCI—to bring artists into the public eye—is highly commendable. We extend our heartfelt congratulations and best wishes for WICCI’s new initiative of launching an online magazine.

WICCI is an organization whose activities differ from other women’s groups. In the realm of West Bengal’s art and culture, their initiatives aimed at women’s awareness are truly commendable. Their work began in 2024 with an event on International Music Day. Since then, after engaging in various fields such as painting and theater, they have now taken the initiative to publish an online magazine.
